Acerca de este título
Music is brain food and emotional sustenance for little ones...Above all other qualities, there is a purity to music - any music - that transcends the spoken word. It's audible beauty. Want to give something special to your kids? Surround them with beauty and inspiration.
Out of the Blue is an utterly compelling and honest memoir reaching back into Anthony's family and his childhood to starting up his first band, The Cockroaches, with his two brothers while still a teenager himself. Anthony's university studies in early childhood education led him to forming the extraordinary band, The Wiggles, with fellow students and a former bandmate. Over the years, The Wiggles has experienced incredible successes, unlooked-for failures and exciting and timely reinventions.
Along the way, Anthony also speaks of his continual struggle with chronic pain and depression which have almost forced him out of his beloved role as the Blue Wiggle. Anthony's creativity, the value he puts on nurturing the creativity of others in the band, his thoughts on music, entrepreneurship, and much more is fascinating reading.
With musical influences as varied as Elvis Presley, the Rolling Stones and Julio Iglesias, the ability to play several instruments, including the guitar, bagpipes, drums and didgeridoo, his commitment to fitness and his enthusiasm for competitive sports, not to mention miniature fox terriers, Anthony Field is truly a remarkable Australian.©2024 Anthony Field with Greg Truman (P)2024 W.
