A legendary sports agent is found floating at the Palm Beach docks. Official conclusion: he was drunk, fell into the Intracoastal, and drowned. But Crawford and Ott aren’t buying it. Not for one second.
Suspects? Take your pick: A 375-pound ex-football player whose wife had become far too friendly with the agent? A beautiful client—mistress to a fearsome Russian billionaire—with whom the line between business and pleasure had become hopelessly blurred? The libidinous agent's own girlfriend, strung along by continued promises of marriage once his alleged divorce was finalized?
Crawford wonders…with so many entanglements, how did this guy have time to do his job? And that's just the beginning. The suspect list only grows as Crawford and Ott continue to bring the agent’s sordid history to light.
Turner’s newest, riveting tale of mystery and deceit in the glitzy world of Palm Beach is a must-listen for fans of crime fiction looking for their next obsession.
