I just wanted to settle down, retire from chasing mythological creatures with bad mojo back into their ethereal worlds, saving the mortal world, and almost being killed on a weekly basis, by Major and Minor gods and deities. I wanted to renovate this big, gorgeous, rundown, somehow condemned & retired sorority mansion into... into SOMETHING! A halfway house for women and children looking to get away from bad situations and start a new life? A homeless shelter, with security, counselors, medical professionals, and mental health providers; that actually looked and felt welcoming and homey?

Extra (FREE) lodging for university students who couldn't afford campus housing, didn't want to live home, and would rather chew off their right arm than join one of the Universities MANY Sororities or Fraternities, just to be able to live near or on campus??? FUNNY! The real-estate listing said nothing of there being a convergence of ley lines, from different mythological underworlds, in the BASEMENT... Well, it probably WAS for the best. Any mortal who purchased the property wouldn't know how to fight the immortal realms' denizens of the deep. In fact, they'd probably have a frakken' coronary, and die-releasing all the bad mojo into the town. NOT. GOOD. NOT. GOOD. AT. ALL!

Perhaps the Mythology teacher at the University would actually believe the materials he was teaching and be able to help slow or still the tides of destruction spilling out from under my reno project. P. S. I'm definitely going to need stain resistant, "pet" friendly, durable materials, for said renovation. That is, if I ever get around to actually doing it!
