Revenge — and its consequences - have inspired writers for millennia. The theme of restorative punishment abounds in cinema, serving as a catharsis for our own desire to strike back (Taken, The Equalizer, John Wick, etc.).
The desire for blind retaliation — and the violence it inspires - has also been brilliantly portrayed in popular literature and film (The 7 Days of Retaliation / Mystic River).
In this first mini-collection, I explore three facets of revenge in three separate stories: a gory thriller, a fantastic tale and a psychological thriller. Three hard-hitting, uncompromising stories already published in my collection Quatre Saisons de nouvelles Tome 1.
