When Karma and her fellow Suburban Moms take on troublemakers, things spin out of control and somebody dies. Accidentally. Between fighting crime, cooking dinner, and bickering with each other, the moms contend with over-the-top kid birthday parties, escaped boa constrictors, and the humiliation of being the last parent at preschool pickup. Trouble escalates when an obnoxious neighbor turns out to be a wife-beater, and the moms go full-on vigilante. He must be stopped, but the Moms stop him more permanently than they intended. Suddenly their quiet neighborhood is overrun with satellite TV trucks and well-coiffed reporters. In the end, it may turn out that the moms have been manipulated all along by someone even more clever and devious than themselves.
