It came during the night. Without warning. Without mercy. The Grey had come to Longford.
Sole survivor of a dark curse, Rhys North meets a mysterious stranger amidst the ruins of his village: Arlas Al’Asim, leader of the Circle of Magi, an ancient order of arcane warriors sworn to the protection of Cambria. Displaying a natural aptitude for magic, Rhys begins his training and undergoes an arduous pilgrimage to join the Order himself. But with tensions rising in the magi ranks and dark omens spreading across the land, he quickly finds himself thrust into the forefront of a conflict that has been building for centuries.
The first part in an epic fantasy series, this action adventure is both brutal and heart-warming in equal measure.
Rhys’s quest takes him across Cambria as he attempts to uncover the mysteries of an ancient network of stone circles, all in a desperate fight to save the world from a fanatical mage of unspeakable power.
