The world stands on the brink of the rocket age, and everyone is thrilled that humanity has attained this stunning achievement. But William Stanley isn’t convinced we should be here. Will he really stop the launch of this incredible rocket that he has helped to create?
Originally released in the spring edition of Planet Stories magazine in 1947, Ray Bradbury’s unbridled imagination created worlds and monsters that paved the way for a new generation of horror, fantasy, and science fiction. He was a master storyteller, a champion of creative freedom, and a space-age visionary. "Rocket Summer" is a bold example of a young writer who is destined for greatness.
