Dr. Bill Creasy
Thirteen of the 27 books of the New Testament are traditionally ascribed to Paul. Although Romans is not the earliest of Paul’s writings, like Isaiah and Matthew, Romans sits at the head of the epistles and letters. Written as a formal argument and structured as a scholastic diatribe, Romans presents Paul’s great thesis that we are saved by grace through faith, not by works of Law. This is revolutionary! Romans, perhaps more than any other book ever written, has fundamentally changed Western civilization, and it is foundational to understanding all of Paul’s other epistles and letters. Listen closely as Logos Bible Study’s Dr. Bill Creasy explores this extraordinary work.

Dr. Bill Creasy of Logos Bible Study uses a literary, historical approach to examine and enliven the bible for modern listeners. Dr. Creasy draws on his studies, travels, and personal anecdotes to depict a vivid picture of the works of scripture. Somewhere between a sermon and a college lecture, he delivers these audiobooks with authority but a pleasantly friendly voice and a touch of fun, using contemporary references.
In Dr. Creasy’s view, the Epistles to Romans is not only the most important of the 13 books attributed to Paul but of all of the New Testament’s 27 books. Though not chronologically his first work, it systematically lays out the thinking that the rest of his work draws upon. He discusses its context and teachings in depth.
