Peace. Where does it come from?
In John 14:27, Jesus says, "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you."
The main way He chose to do that is through the hearing of His word.
It makes me wise. (Matthew 7:24)
It gives me fellowship with Him. (Luke 8:21)
It sanctifies me. (John 17:17)
Indeed, it is the source of my faith. (Romans 10:17)
Another way He has chosen to bring us peace in this life is through music. Our ability to take pleasure, inspiration and comfort from music is one of the things which separates us from all His other creatures. Music is at once perfectly analytical and sublimely emotional. It is transformative, by Design (1Samuel 10:5-6).
Sacred Sleep was created with this biblical model of peace in mind. The audio version combines God's word with soothing music to create a unique experience that will help you get the rest you need while deepening your faith and drawing you closer to God.
