With the mere glance of his smoldering eyes, Spotted Horse could spark a firestorm of desire in the spirited settler's heart. Then he stole like a shadow in the night to rescue Marjorie from her hated stepfather, and she ached to surrender to the proud warrior body and soul.©1997 Cassie Edwards (P)2009 Audio Holdings, LLC Histórico Novela histórica Oeste americano

Reseñas editoriales

Ardent fans of historical romance writer Cassie Edwards will welcome Nanette Savard’s spirited performance of Savage Tears, the sixth in Edwards’ popular Savage series. This engrossing work follows Marjorie Zimmerman and Dakota Indian chief Spotted Horse as they recognize the passion that lies between them and fight for their love in a world that cannot and will not accept it.

Savard is an adept narrator, not given to performative flourishes - her performance is plain but strong, bolstered by consistent pacing and clear, articulate enunciation. Listeners beware: Once you sink into this thrilling romance, there’s no turning back...you’ll be hooked all the way through to its steamy, thrilling climax!
