The raging waters of the Ohio River made all their lives precarious - as precarious as his control over his senses when he gazed into Maddy's welcoming green eyes.

Voice actor Nanette Savard performs this epic tale of star-crossed love set against a backdrop of natural majesty and riveting intrigue.
Cassie Edwards’ Savage Wonder is a historical melodrama, the eighth in her popular Savage series, which explores the magnetic attraction between Black Wolf, a Native American leader preoccupied with protecting his people from the effects of a violent natural disaster, and Madeline Penrod, who wants to help but finds herself caught up in a whirlwind romance instead. Savard’s narration brings an enjoyably gritty tone to this guilty-pleasure audiobook, making it a can’t-miss edition to the canon for longtime Edwards fans.
