Reseñas editoriales
This lecture was recorded live at the Himalayan Institute in Pennsylvania, in 2004, at a conference entitled Freedom from Fear. The lecture is called "Self-Policing", and in it speaker Kiran Bedi talks about the idea of self-governance. She tells her story of being a prison guard in the police force of India, and what this assignment taught her about knowing and "policing" the self before attempting to police others. Bedi is a fascinating speaker, with a unique perspective to share. She speaks eloquently, her north Indian accent making English into a delicate and musical language. Although her subject is a philosophical one, she sprinkles anecdotes and jokes into her speech so that listeners will find themselves laughing along with the live audience.
