This is an excellent, page-turning Sherlock Holmes pastiche by noted author and historian Barry Day. It explores the fascinating "what if" proposition supposing the latent return of a legendary murderer, whose "signature", left upon his victims' skillfully eviscerated bodies, alerts Holmes and Scotland Yard to his unmistakable presence anew in England. To quote the cover of this recently released book: "Sherlock Holmes meets Jack the Ripper, Oscar Wilde, and THE Woman!"

And to further delight listeners, actor David Ian Davies once again carries off the roles of all the characters, every single one, male and female, as an energetic, fast-paced, fireworks-brilliant ensemble.

Reseñas de la crítica

"The most incredible one-person audio you have heard. Has to be heard to be believed. David Ian Davies creates theatre in a book." (Charles Prepolec, one of the most respected Sherlockians)

Reseñas editoriales

David Ian Davies, veteran actor and product of the London Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, brings a smooth baritone and expressiveness to the accents, nuances, and adventure of Barry Day, OBE, and his energetic reimagining of fiction and fact - including not just Arthur Conan Doyle’s iconic detective Holmes and his sidekick, Watson, but also Jack the Ripper and Oscar Wilde. The mystery begins with the presentation to Holmes and Watson of a gruesome murder and ends as they race to head off those infamous four horsemen, harbingers of the end of days.
