Acerca de este título
Forced to wed: A grieving mafia princess trapped in a deadly alliance…with the one man she swore she could never have.
She's my best friend's daughter.
Barely twenty-two.
Sacred. Forbidden. Mine.
She never dreamed she'd wear my ring, share my name, warm my bed. But with her father's blood still fresh on the streets and vultures circling, I'm the devil she knows.
What began as duty ignites into an obsession I can't control.
Because when I look at Bella now, I don't see Giovanni's innocent little girl. I see the woman who could bring me to my knees.
As she claws her way to power at my side, I'm losing the battle to resist her. The walls I built from my first wife's betrayal are falling, and the secrets in my past could get us both killed.
With my baby growing inside her, and my brother plotting our destruction, I'll paint this city red. Because I'll slaughter anyone who tries to take what's mine
"You were never just a duty, Bella. You were always meant to be my salvation."
©2025 Ajme Williams (P)2025 Podium Audio-Calling her a stepdaughter is ridiculous, seriously. I wish at least their “relationship” would’ve evolved more organically, you know maybe a friendship the. A sisterhood and at the maybe something more motherly. But “this” was just ridiculous.
-She was supposed to be a sheltered child, and suddenly she's powerful, and it turns out she was always trained in the mafia world. Excuse me? -Repetitive dialogue. Every few paragraphs or chapters we have the same phrases.
-And please, shall we play a drinking game? Every time they mention her artistic talent, one drink.
-It should have ended by 65%, haha. It would’ve been enjoyable at least (at this point I was like “oh well, 3 stars”) But the rest ? Unnecessary and pointless. If this was your end game, then why do the first half of the book with another plot ? It was like three stories into one. And then you have the nerve to not close properly the story and leave the door open for the conclusion to be in another book.
-Excuse me? Now she's an expert sniper? Wow! Just wow!
-The friend? The author tried too hard to make her an "important" character, but please… she was a poorly developed secondary character. Not worthy of a book. I really hope she ends up being a secondary character in her own story.
-It was like an endless loop. We could never see the ending in this thing.
So yeah well, I read that.
I need a minute.
