Life isn't going so great for Irwin Higgins. After losing his parents to COVID-19, he's found himself in a bad situation. He's got plenty of money to sustain himself and a little boutique he inherited from his late aunt. However, he's in a rocky relationship with a gay-for-pay roughneck named Kyle. Kyle is more than just a monster. He's an egotistical control freak who results to drastic measures when he doesn't get his way. After beating Erwin one time too many, Erwin decides to slip away under the cloak of night. But it's not the last he'll see of his abusive boyfriend.
Stetson Comber is a lonely retiree. He spends his days walking the beach and living life to its fullest. He's content, just not happy. When Irwin shows up out of the blue, the attraction is instant. What Stetson doesn't understand is who would ever want to hurt someone as sweet and kind as Irwin. Irwin needs Stetson just as bad as Stetson needs him. But can he find the courage to let someone else in?
