The exciting sequel to A New Breed!
After battling the elements to cross the Great Plains to Colorado - then fighting horse rustlers and a vengeful killer - the Jakes family hopes to finally settle down on their new ranch and breed horses...
...until a wedding celebration provides the cover for Frank Jakes' young daughter Franny to be kidnapped by a young man known only as Jack.
Unless Frank and his family can do something fast, the terrified girl will be sold to the Comanches as a slave. But no law or troops are nearby to track down the kidnappers and get her back.
Desperate, Frank and his family must turn once again to the only man who can help: Frank's new brother-in-law, rugged mountain man Roy Scuggins. But he can't do this job alone. And Roy's friend and warrior ally, Black Eagle, lies wounded.
Unskilled in tracking and fighting, Frank himself must accompany Roy on the dangerous and deadly rescue mission to save his beloved Franny...if they're not already too late.
