In contrast, Pearlman gives Lahn, the purple-skinned nobleman Jane falls for, a deep, urbane voice, dramatizing the phenomenon that opposites attract. As Jane finds her way from Earth back to Waar (Mars) to save Lahn, Pearlman never falters in bringing forth the raunchy bite of this high adventure.
