Collected together for the first time in generations, Tales of Britain Volume Two presents the finest and funniest folktales in our national treasury, from all over the British Isles—Scotland, Wales, Kernow, and England—rebooted and refreshed for 21st-century folk of all ages, each tale rooted in the landscape of Britain. As retold by ancient storyteller Brother Bernard (comedian and author Jem Roberts), this cream of British lore combines the magic of Roald Dahl, the anarchy of Monty Python's Terry Jones, and the naughty energy of comedian Rik Mayall, to bring to life the legends that inspired Hogwarts, Middle-Earth, and so much more. From famous names like Dick Whittington, Robin Hood, and King Arthur to lesser celebrated heroes Mollie Whuppie, Jack O'Kent, and Rhiannon, there's something for everyone in each volume of tales, with a tourist guide for every story, encouraging everyone to visit the places where each legend... "really happened". This second volume brings you brave Lady Godiva, tragic Tristan & Isolde, the stinky Knucker, murderous Macbeth, and many others. For the full volume contents, and lots more, visit the shop at TalesofBritain.com.
