Nicholas Thunderheart moved though the steamy forest with the strength of a jungle cat. Primal...predatory. Years ago, scandal drove him to isolation in the Smoky Mountains. But now that solitude is shattered - by a woman. Jane Litton knew him as the public did: as a coward. But Nicholas in the flesh is nothing like she’d expected. Nor was her fiery reaction to him. Nicholas had always been a mystery, but Jane must unlock his secrets - and bring him home to a daughter he’d never known.

Actor Christine Williams’s warm and passionate interpretation of Taming the Wild Man, by romance novelist Deborah Camp, creates an intimate experience for the listener. Intrepid heroine Jane Litton enters the verdant wilderness landscape of the Smoky Mountains in search of her mysterious ex-brother-in-law, the handsome Nicholas Thunderheart. Years earlier, Nicholas, a former ethical investor described as "a cross between Tarzan and Tonto", abandoned his daughter, retreating to a life of solitude in the lush forest. Jane is determined to reunite father and child, but finds herself succumbing to her primitive desires.
