Lance Bishop, an isolated gamer, never expected his life to change—until a freak lightning storm struck his home and transported him into the world of Illondria, a magical land plagued by beasts and despair. Guided by the radiant Aloria, the Goddess of Joy, Lance is given a unique gift: the power to see thirty seconds into the future. Armed with this ability and his growing emotional strength, Lance must navigate this dangerous world, battle monstrous creatures, and face down the fearsome Nerezza, the Goddess of Despair.
But foresight alone won't be enough. Lance quickly realizes that Illondria’s magic is tied to emotions, and it’s his connections to others—especially his bond with the fierce warrior Kara and his blossoming feelings for Aloria—that will ultimately determine his fate.
As Nerezza’s darkness spreads, threatening to consume the land, Lance must confront his deepest fears, master the power of joy, and accept his role as the "Slayer of Beasts." With his allies at his side and a goddess watching from above, Lance’s final battle will determine not just his future—but the fate of the world itself.
Fast-paced, full of heart, and brimming with magic, "The Slayer of Beasts" is a thrilling tale of transformation, destiny, and the power of hope.
