Evie, the owner of the heels, is inspired by Leslie’s love of fashion and is named after her grandmother, Mary Evelyn. Henry wants children listening to this book to know that they can do whatever they set their minds to, and they can draw inspiration from the world around them, whether it be a pair of shoes, or anything!
