Jack Cannon and his friends are stranded in the land of Pierrany. The looming threat of Kaylar’s evil has shadowed their time there, and the ominous signs of the malevolent sorcerer’s impending return all point to the same inevitable conclusion: Kaylar’s resurgence is certain, and he must be defeated if they are to save not only Pierrany but their own world as well.

Their journey to victory continues to be thwarted by all manners of evil threatening to break them apart and weaken their defenses. Jade has been captured, and Merlin’s lost, his self-sacrifice casting his mind and soul off to the In between World. Meanwhile, Teddy and Jack grow further and further apart. Jack's brilliant detective mind keeps turning without welcoming outside opinions, leaving Teddy to be resentful of not having an equal voice. With Teddy ripe for manipulation, yet another foe swoops in, further dividing our heroes.

Intense battles, gut-wrenching decisions, and the greatest of adventures highlight the exhilarating finale of Part II in Pierrany, where friendships are challenged, and our detectives are teetering on the edge of life and death—where some will rise while others fall in an epic fight for survival.
