There was only one man who fought both Rocky Marciano and Muhammad Ali. There was only one man who recorded 141 professional Knock-Outs. There was only one man who trained both a young Ali and heavyweight champion George Forman. There was only one Archie Moore. With a seven-decade boxing career, including 27 years as a prize fighter, Moore's vast career and exploits are finally chronicled in The Ageless Warrior. Author Mike Fitzgerald spent months with Moore before the boxer's death in an effort to capture the full life story of one of the 20th Century's most colorful and accomplished athletes. And what a story it was. Moore's opponent list reads like a "who's who" of boxing; he fought nine world champions and seven Hall-of-Famers.

Archie Moore's career in the ring is legendary: The man still holds the record for the most professional knockouts, and his achievement as the longest-reigning Light Heavyweight champion remains undisputed. In Mike Fitzgerald's epic biography The Ageless Warrior, Gary Telles narrates the life of the man affectionately nicknamed "The Old Mongoose". From Moore's experience training George Foreman to fighting Rocky Marciano and Muhammad Ali, Telles' animated storytelling pays homage to the rich life of one of boxing's greatest fighters.
