Ellen loved nature and was a running enthusiast; her favorite pathway lay beneath tall, stately trees and meandered along a beautiful stream near her hometown.
Sadly, after her third bout with cancer, her runs became walks. Despite her suffering, she continued to walk on days when she was able.
