The Book of Acts is a book of devotions from the book of Acts. Twenty-eight chapters describe the lives of the apostles, work of the Holy Spirit, and the birth of a new organized religion, the Christian Church. This book is meant to challenge, spiritually build up, encourage, and educate Christians, hopefully adding to their spiritual life in a world where we are so inundated with information and stuff that really doesn't matter that it seems harder to focus on Christian Spirituality.
These devotions deal with day-to-day life in a world that is busy and consuming in a way that is edifying. Listeners everywhere will be reminded of their calling and that God is just as involved in our lives as God was in the life of the early Church.
