The Discoveries Of Sherlock Holmes is a series of Sherlock Holmes stories exclusively released on Kindle Unlimited to give fans the opportunity to sample Sherlockian writers from all over the world. One story per writer will appear each month. Number VIII is William P. DeFeo.
The Case of the Acclaimed Philosopher is a Sherlock Holmes tribute tale that is traced carefully along the classic lines of A.
C. Doyle’s original master stories. Subtly woven into the fabric of the tale is prescience of the treacherous word, “Moriarty," a name that strikes a dissonant chord of sheer evil into the heart of every patron of the art of Sherlock Holmes and John Watson. The lost works of Aristotle are at the heart of the case, as the reserved wit and cunning sagacity of Holmes seeks to hoist evildoers on their own petard. Good versus evil is perilously set in motion, and the tale’s action carries the listener nervously to the brink of resolution or ruin — while the reputation of an Empire hangs in the balance.
