Crime does not always begin in the shadows. Sometimes it starts on a perfectly manicured fairway.
When a surge of new members transforms a struggling Pacific Northwest country club into a thriving social hub, no one asks the obvious question: Where is all this money coming from?
Beneath the polished rituals of golf, the familiar handshakes and quiet deals, something far more dangerous is taking hold. Cartel money is moving north and embedding itself into the club's culture, its finances, and eventually its leadership.
Into this world steps Patrick Garrot, a former collegiate golf prodigy who becomes an FBI agent with a talent for following the small details others overlook. His undercover assignment places him in the heart of a laundering operation hidden in plain sight. With every glass of wine poured, every shipment logged, and every board meeting observed, Garrot edges closer to the truth. At the same time, he sinks deeper into danger.
A measured blend of suspense, character, and quiet menace, The Club reveals how easily power can be purchased, how loyalty can be pressured, and how a peaceful community can become the perfect front for an empire.
