For publication in 'hard copy', Tails of the Travelling Bag has been broken into three volumes for ease of handling (Into the World; Over the Northern Hills; Secret Mission) but the audiobook brings them all together to complete the story.
Jerri, a young gerbil, leaves the nest for the first time and meets Jesus. They become firm friends and Jerri, together with his family and other companions, accompany Jesus throughout his travels and ministry, experiencing plenty of adventures of their own along the way.
Meticulously researched, 'Tails...' gives what you might call a sideways look at the life of Jesus and, like all the best 'children's' books, is written with adults in mind, too.
