In this cursed love romance, a witch and a reaper create a connection that's damned within a bewitching coven where ghosts haunt the academy and mystery lurks around every corner.

Love is a curse when you're a witch.

The witch trials ended centuries ago, but the coven still has its curses. In the small town of Octavia Falls, witches brew potions, cast spells, receive visions, and speak with the dead. Nadine has dreams of becoming a homicide detective, but after being denied from the police academy due to her lupus, she relocates to her mother's paranormal hometown. There, she discovers she's a witch. To awaken her powers, Nadine must attend a magical college and prepare to meet the witches' Goddess, despite enemies who threaten her place within the coven.

Lucas is the Reaper's Apprentice, the only warlock of his generation destined to ferry the souls of the dead. He broods around campus, but for a girl who cant leave a puzzle unsolved, this warlock is a mystery Nadine finds irresistible. Although they'd make the perfect pair investigating the town's haunting mysteries, an ancient curse placed upon all reapers means the closer Nadine and Lucas become, the closer Nadine draws to death.

If Nadine fails the Goddess's test, she'll be banished from the coven and cast out from the supernatural world. But if she proves herself and awakens her magic, she'll become a full student of Miriam College... where her love for the gorgeous reaper could put Nadine in her grave.
