Twinridge Valley is divided between two old bird tribes: the Suncrest Flock, who nest among the eastern cliffs, and the Shadeleaf Flock, who live in the western fig groves. For generations, each side has blamed the other for lost nesting grounds, stolen fruit, and broken agreements. The quarrel has become so old that most young birds no longer know how it began.

Between the two territories lives a small cuckoo-dove family: patient Arlen, practical Mira, their curious daughter Luma, their impulsive son Kiri, and Grandmother Yara, who remembers when the valley once shared one watering hollow. When drought, rumor, and sabotage push the tribes toward open conflict, the family refuses to choose a side. Instead, they search for the truth hidden beneath inherited anger. Their journey becomes a continuous fable about listening, courage, fairness, memory, and the difficult work of building peace between communities that have forgotten how to trust.
