Cranky old ex-cop turned private investigator Jay and his new assistant, his tech-savvy granddaughter, McKayla, arrive in the mining town of Carmine, Nevada looking for their client's young daughter, Rose, whose mother spirited her away in a bitter custody battle. As they dig deeper, they begin discovering horrifying secrets about the cult and about the child's disappearance.
