Following Sergeant Paul Myers' tragic demise in the Iraq war, memories weren’t the only legacy he left behind for his family. His daughter Sammy inherits from Paul a symbolic gift—a stuffed bear complete with a recording alluding to the Dreaming Tree, a cherished bedtime story the father and daughter once bonded over. Little did she anticipate the profound impact this gift and its message would have on her journey through grief and life overall.
Over time, Sammy unravels the Dreaming Tree's profound significance, discovering it transcends its original role as a bedtime story. Existing in the intersection between dreams and reality, The Dreaming Tree realm becomes Sammy’s sole connection to her deceased father and a source of healing. The Dreaming Tree and Paul’s eternal love channeled through it shape the pivotal moments of Sammy’s life, especially as a late discovery of the true origin of Paul’s gift beckons Sammy toward an unforeseen mission.
