Alana Eldralin had everything a young Stravad could ask for: a loving family, a powerful legacy, and the leadership of Temeron in her future. She wanted nothing more than to follow in her father’s footsteps, becoming Stravad Leader in his stead. She wasn’t prepared for her entire life to be turned upside down.
Trey Almsden was Alana’s polar opposite. Trey struggled for every scrap of food he got, contending with ridicule at his mother’s illicit occupation. Trey didn’t even know who his father was, a man who gifted him with emerald eyes, but nothing else. Still, Trey had always managed to escape trouble, until he was accused of murder.
Stravad do not commit murder, especially in Temeron, but when Trey is arrested and brought before the Stravad Leader for punishment, his path collides with Alana’s and the two of them are suddenly thrust into an adventure that neither of them are prepared for.
With the Nazarien in turmoil, the Stravad Leader is torn between saving his youngest daughter or fulfilling the call of Eldon to take command of his legacy. Ultimately, the choice comes down to whether he can accept the help of the man who stole his daughter from him.
Continue the adventure with the eleventh installment in the World of Samar series.
