Captain Dave Murray and the crew of the Algonquin disappear from Earth’s solar system during a vital Space Colonization Agency mission, and find themselves reemerging light years away in a crowded planetary system with no weapons, no supplies, and no way to return home.
Through first contact scenarios, the captain and crew discover the Graviscape, the only energy field that traverses all space-time dimensions. When properly modulated, data and even matter can be transported at faster-than-light speeds giving them a potential option to get home.
Captain Murray battles paralyzing personal demons as he works to rebuild the trust of his superiors and his crew while they stumble through harrowing first-contact situations in a desperate effort to get home—to save humanity.
The civilian captain and crew must leverage their new partnerships to try and defeat the enemy’s experienced military combat space fleet to save Earth from a devastating attack.
Partnerships are weaponized driving an unusual alignment of allies and enemies, where loyalty and love are pitted against hate and uncertainty.
Science fiction fans that like adventure, first contact, battling one’s inner monologue, and emotional drama will love this epic journey, Book 1 in the Graviscape storyline.
