17th Century Bavaria.
At the end of the Adventurer’s Road, deep in the Hexental - the Valley of Witches - lies the town of Reimersberg. Beautiful but insulated, its residents are proud of their traditions and hostile to change and anyone who might bring it.
Not for nothing do people say that you have to be strange to take the road to Reimersberg, but even stranger to live there.
For this town hides a dark secret, which will prove to be its undoing, and a curse on all who dwell there.
One fateful day, a wanderer happens into the town. A beautiful, intriguing stranger who will change Reimersberg and its people forever.
The Half-Torn Page is a dark tale, including accusations of witchcraft, set against the backdrop of the glorious Bavarian forests and mountains, where careless actions will unleash forces which expose the best and worst of humanity.
Described by readers as “a fantastic and atmospheric read”, “a Grimm tale for our times”, and reminiscent of Philip Pullman and JRR Tolkein.
