Set in the mist-laden realm of Elderglen, The Hollow Vale: Short Stories: The Seer of Velden tells the story of a younger Caelwyn and Velden Nan, a figure of mystery and reverence known for her silence and her connection to the Wyrd. Through half-spoken truths and glimpses of forgotten threads, her journey as a seer explores the weight of prophecy and memory in a land shaped by both history and myth.
Rooted in the landscapes and echoes of Somerset, this short story blends the richness of Tharionese lore with the faint reverberations of ancient Roman Britain. The glades of Elderglen, the spiral paths of Tor Velden, and the veiled waters of the Whisperflow are brought to life in vivid detail, creating a world suspended between reality and imagination.
Accompanied by immersive music available for free on Spotify, Amazon Music, and more (search for “Alexander Paul Burton”), The Seer of Velden invites listeners into a multi-sensory experience where the silence of the Hollow Vale is just as powerful as its stories.
Perfect for fans of folklore, atmospheric tales, and lyrical storytelling, this short story offers a glimpse into the resonant depths of The Hollow Vale
