The start of summer in Glenville is seemingly idyllic...until a family reunion at Dr. Fleming’s Lake house, turns into a day of mass casualties....
Glenville is an interesting town full of oddballs and quirky inhabitants.
One of them being Christopher Fleming, a world-renowned plastic surgeon.
In the midst of celebrating his 50th birthday, multiple gunmen crash the party.
Kidnapping the doctor and leaving a trail of bodies behind them.
As local police and the town's detective Heather Bishop arrive at the scene, they bear witness to the horrific aftermath of the crime.
Upon the realization that the case might be more than she could handle, Heather teams up with Jason Fleming, Christopher's son. A U.S. intelligence officer with a wide array of experience under his belt. Together as they attempt to make sense of the seemingly unexplainable, they stumble upon an international conspiracy and the many faces of evil.
Masked gunmen, kidnappings, mass killings, and a touch of international intrigue. The House on the Lake may be serene, but the truth behind this case is not for the faint of heart.
