'You cannot see the invisible man because he is invisible. But you can guess that he is in the room by seeing things knocked over.'

The third collection of short stories featuring G.K. Chesterton's iconic priest-detective, Father Brown.

In this brilliantly thrilling volume, Father Brown, our quiet yet sharp-minded amateur detective, once again solves a series of baffling mysteries which perplex the local community. From miraculous resurrections, cursed relics and seemingly impossible murders, Father Brown uses his profound understanding of human nature and knack for deduction to get to the root of these bewildering mysteries. Despite being a man of faith, he is skeptical of appearances, bridging logical insight and spiritual wisdom to unveil what no one else is able to see. Pacey, compelling and moreish, The Incredulity of Father Brown remains a beloved classic in the Father Brown series. This audiobook edition is skillfully brought to life by Nicholas Boulton.

Gilbert Keith Chesterton (1874 – 1936) was an English novelist, philosopher, journalist and critic. A Christian apologist, he is famed for creating the fictional priest-detective Father Brown. His writing was also renowned for his sense of humour: known as 'the prince of paradox', Chesterton often turned common sayings upside down. Admired by several of his literary contemporaries, Chesterton's work is still widely read today.
