The graduation trip of a lifetime comes with deadly consequences. For six friends, two weeks at a sprawling mansion on a private island in the Caribbean seems like a dream come true. But it's more like a nightmare.
Welcome to La Isla del Cordero: a private paradise for the ultra-rich—and the setting for a darkly comic, twist-filled tale of secrets, sabotage, and scandal.
Sadie never should’ve come. Joining five of her wealthy classmates on a private island for a post-graduation vacation sounded like the perfect escape. But from the moment the jet touches down, something feels off. There are whispers of Russian mafia ties, a network of mysterious tunnels, windowless concrete bunkers—and, of course, the festering tension of teenage betrayal.
When Sadie's ex-boyfriend Jake is found dead on the beach, no one knows how he died—or why. With no cell service, no way to call for help, and a suspiciously shady staff, the teens quickly realize they may be trapped on an island that’s less tropical paradise and more corporate cover-up.
Told through multiple perspectives, but mainly through the biting, self-aware lens of Sadie—equal parts acerbic, damaged, and hilarious—The Island blends murder mystery, teen drama, and corporate intrigue in a pitch-black comedy of errors.
