Tensions flare in the Middle East, and the world is on high alert. Does the Bible have anything to say about this? It certainly does, and Satan's goal is to distort the Bibles clear predictions.
At Christ's first coming, more than two thousand years ago, God's people were expecting a Messiah who would conquer the Romans and make Israel a great nation. They believed this because they had misinterpreted the Old Testament prophecies. When Jesus arrived, He was hardly the King whom they were expecting, and the majority rejected Him.
Today, Satan is scheming to deceive believers about Christ's second coming. He is leading many Christians to misinterpret Old and New Testament prophecies about the nation of Israel, drawing their attention to the temple in Jerusalem rather than the ministry of Christ in the heavenly sanctuary.

"In The Masterful Deception, you will learn how God is building a spiritual kingdom in the hearts of believers, not an earthly kingdom under the banners of nations. Understanding this truth is crucial for every believer. Only those who have been diligent students of the Scriptures . . . will be shielded from the powerful delusion that takes the world captive" (Ellen G. White, The Great Controversy, 625)
