Imagine that your nightmare is an intrusion into another dimension and your presence causes physical harm to that dimension’s natural resident. Self is defending its home in the only manner available to it. Self is defending itself. Roxanne has the same ability to enter the nightmares of others. She can intervene in the events and make the horrors of someone’s nightmares end making the dreams peaceful. But when Self is working against the dreamer, Roxanne has more of a fight on her hands than she bargained for. Self is defending its home. Roxanne is protecting the dreamers. Self won’t listen to excuses and won’t stop protecting its home. Roxanne’s options are dwindling and Self will not stop.
