Men and women are separated to achieve permanent peace. No competition, no jealousy, no love. But what if everything you thought to be true was just a façade to enforce compliance?
Andrea is in her final year of school - the year each woman meets a man for the first time. Reluctant to participate and meet the expectations of her community, she decides to try and understand this unfamiliar gender for herself before partaking in her sexual duties.
With newfound truths planted in her mind, Andrea must choose to continue leading her ordinary life or try to rebalance the scales of gender equality. The Parlor shows listeners the dangers of living a life in ignorant bliss. The underlying call to action makes you realize that once you see something is wrong, can you really turn your back on it?
