The mystery and the pain it’s so palpable, I was on the edge of my seat the entire time!
Their relationship is incredible; they hated each other so much, but they (more her than him) didn't really understand why. It was really interesting to learn with her what the hell was going on hahaha.
Morana was an interesting character, she was on the line between strong and insufferable, but thankfully she kept her distance from the insufferable part most of the time.
And Tristan ? My goodness, can someone please give that man a hug? Hahaha.
I was so immersed in the story that the cliffhanger didn’t bother me one bit, the “ending” of this book was perfect as it is.

The narration and the audiobook not being a first person and duet narration is criminal!

So this is suposse to be dark mafia romance, but instead it's more like depressing mafia, with a bit of romance. Don't read or listen to this book or the second book, if you are feeling sad or depressed, because this will push you over the edge! there is no love between the 2 main characters, so whoever said this was a love story needs their head checked! hardly any spice and it wasn't at all pasionate, more like cold and distant, no banter, no passion,nothing! the actual mafia part of the story isn't so bad, but parts were sooo boring, the audiobook was awfull and male narrator must be the worst in all history!! thank God he was hardly in it! don't like third person narration either, got confusing at times.
