So this is suposse to be dark mafia romance, but instead it's more like depressing mafia, with a bit of romance. Don't read or listen to this book or the second book, if you are feeling sad or depressed, because this will push you over the edge! there is no love between the 2 main characters, so whoever said this was a love story needs their head checked! hardly any spice and it wasn't at all pasionate, more like cold and distant, no banter, no passion,nothing! the actual mafia part of the story isn't so bad, but parts were sooo boring, the audiobook was awfull and male narrator must be the worst in all history!! thank God he was hardly in it! don't like third person narration either, got confusing at times.
