This classic 19th-century children’s tale, written by Kenneth Grahame, tells the story of a young boy who discovers a peaceful - and highly intellectual - dragon in the countryside around his small town...but when his fellow villagers discover the fantastic creature as well, they demand that famed dragon-slayer St. George kill the beast. Luckily, even St. George seems to understand that this is a very special dragon...but what kind of plan can the three unlikely allies come up with to save this mythological monster’s life?
Bertie Carvel has a light, pleasant voice with a slight sing-songy quality well-suited to the tone of this whimsical little tale.
