Rocky is a has-been who is intent on reviving her career by producing an autobiography. Rocky expects a sympathetic rendering of her past, but Rocky’s ghostwriter easily unearths her flaws and errors. When Cat is burned by Rocky, she teams with the ghostwriter to publish Rocky’s unsavory history. This savvy and quietly funny story is told from Cat’s perspective, which is both young and knowing.
