Just when it seems the battle is won, the enemy rises once more ...
King Nuada and his Danann warriors have travelled through an ancient portal to Kilnabracka – home to Ayla, Sean, Finny and Benvy.
In the beginning everything seems normal in the town. It looks untouched with no sign of the dangerous Danann. But a storm is brewing, and the friends are being drawn into a trap, down a spiral path. Only they can save themselves and the townsfolk.

"A breakneck time slip adventure story with some very funny episodes." (Irish Examiner)
"A finale that subverts expectations at every turn...a fast, lean and creepy adventure...an unsettling combination of Invasion of the Body Snatchers and the scouring of the Shire section from Lord of the Rings." (Inis)
"A breath-taking conclusion.... Matt Griffin delvers a fantasy adventure with a lot of punch." (Children’s Books Ireland)
