This is a story about an unexpected friendship, following the developing bond between Marta, a young girl, and Nicolas, a small but brave frog, amidst the wonders and adventures of Saint Martville, a lively frog city. Saint Martville, founded by the visionary Don Corleone Tlaloc, is a thriving city, known especially for its grand annual Spring Equinox Ball.
As the neighboring human city expands, posing a threat to Saint Martville, Pierre, father to Nicolas and advisor to Don Corleone, embarks on a risky endeavor to protect the frog city. His actions set in motion a dangerous adventure.
Meanwhile, a chance meeting sparks a journey of discovery for Nicolas, as he feels a pull towards the human world. When his father faces a life-threatening situation, Nicolas makes a difficult choice, venturing into the unknown to save him: he undergoes a transformation.
During the city's spring celebration, Marta's own discoveries lead her to a changed Nicolas, a significant turn in their intertwined stories of friendship and change.
