Acerca de este título

Bhutan is a magical place. A land full of wild and wonderful animals, both real and imaginary. A culture where the rawness of the ancient past and the complex reality of the present bump into one another, into what feels like a blur to us foreigners, but is understandable and logical for the Bhutanese, especially the country folk.

This tale is a quest to obtain wisdom from an ancient wise source. Wisdom on how to help humans stop polluting the countryside and once more respect the timeless bond between them and all other living things. On the journey, the four animal 'seekers' stumble across an ancient being. A being whose species is on the edge of extinction. Their request for knowledge from the being has the added effect of rescuing the species from extinction for at least the short term.

Young human children play a key role in bridging the wisdom from this sacred but rarely seen being of the mountains in helping humanity see the danger of its own mistakes. The King of Bhutan becomes the catalyst ensuring that both the worthy goal of the four animal 'seekers', the wise being of the mountains and a group of driven young humans make change happen. At the same time, helping the species of the wise being to live in peace, at least for the near future.
