The Texican is a fictional account of one man’s experiences during the middle to late 19th century in Texas. Whether in the capacity of rancher or gunfighter, Honks remains the constant in an ever changing and violent Texas during the day when the gun was the only law that ruled the land. Honks Pickens represents what is the best and worst of us - an imperfect man attempting to deal with his demons during a time of violence and retribution.
