Canalville, New York, a once-thriving community, is on the verge of total economic collapse, and the mayor’s dark secret is well-hidden. Can Randy Sparks, a freewheeling village employee who’s always in trouble for speaking his mind, change their destiny?
The village of Canalville is vintage, small-town America, with boutique shops, streets made for strolling, and best-known for its annual WinterWonderFest, a dazzling celebration of the holiday season. Yet there’s a hint of desperation in this year’s vibe.
With the possibility of bankruptcy on the mind of every villager, the success of this year’s festivities is crucial. For the first time, the possibility of a live TV broadcast looms large. Will the people of Canalville use the event just to help themselves? Can they muster enough Christmas spirit to save the soul of their once vibrant town?
Those are your choices while in Canalville. Find out if it’s possible to deliver both.
